Colour choices
After style the next most important consideration has got to be colour and working out what will suit your home and the style you want to build into a room can be a difficult choice.
You know you want shutters, you know the shape you’ll want but what colour should you go for?
Some ranges have a more limited range of colours but even these have a choice of light, dark and medium tones. A good guide to choosing a colour is how much light you get in the room.
Is it a light airy, south-facing room with a large window? Or is it a small, darker room with a small window? What décor do you want to have overall?
Things to consider
All these considerations will affect your final choice. A large, light room with a large bay window might look better with a darker stain than a small, dark room with a smaller window which might work better with a light or white tone.
So, look at how the shutter colour will work with your overall light conditions and décor and see what ranges best meet what you want.
Of course, if you want something a bit more out of the ordinary we can match to both the Farrow & Ball and Dulux paint ranges which means you can co-ordinate your décor to an even greater degree.
